How and when we send your order, what it costs, and how pre-orders are handled. Everything is packed by hand and shipped from the UK.
We pack every order by hand and aim to dispatch within two working days (Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays). At busy times, or for handmade items made to order, dispatch may take a little longer — if so, we will let you know.
UK delivery is sent by Royal Mail Tracked 48, a tracked service, and the cost is shown at checkout before you pay. Once dispatched, items typically arrive within 2–3 working days, though Royal Mail does not guarantee this for standard services. Delivery times are estimates and start from dispatch, not from when you order.
We ship to the UK and to most of Europe (EU countries). European delivery is sent with Royal Mail International Tracked, and the exact cost is shown at checkout before you pay; delivery times vary by destination. For EU orders we ship on a Delivered Duties Paid (DDP) basis: at checkout you pay one all-in price — the item, delivery, and a small “Import Charges (DDP)” line that covers customs duty and the carrier’s handling fee — and we prepay those charges so your parcel is delivered with nothing more to pay. The tax due in your country is already included in the price you see, so there is no separate VAT to pay on arrival. For now we can only accept EU orders up to €150 in value (the items themselves, not counting delivery). If your basket is larger than that, it can’t be completed online yet — please remove an item to bring it under €150, or email us at hello@theguildedveil.co.uk and we will help.
Some decks are sold as pre-orders before the stock has arrived in the UK. Where an item is a pre-order, the product page shows an estimated dispatch window. These windows are our best estimate and can move depending on our supplier and import timelines; we will keep you updated and tell you promptly if there is a significant delay. If your order mixes in-stock and pre-order items, we may either hold the whole order until everything is ready or ship in parts — we will confirm which when you order.
Where your service includes tracking we will send you the details when your order is dispatched. If your parcel has not arrived within a reasonable time of the estimated date, contact us at hello@theguildedveil.co.uk and we will help trace it. If a parcel is confirmed lost in transit, we will arrange a replacement or refund — under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 the goods remain our responsibility until they are delivered to you.
Please check your delivery address at checkout. If an order is returned to us because the address was incorrect or undeliverable, we will contact you to arrange redelivery (which may incur a further postage charge) or a refund of the goods.
